OUR BRAND VALUES*
OUR COMMITMENTS*
Sustainability
Soil health and biodiversity is imperative to long lasting, naturally hardy vines producing the best quality grapes, as important as terroir. We make the most of natural predators and mulching to reduce disease.
Environment
We're a LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) Farm which means we use natural pesticides, have wide field margins for wildlife and only spray when absolutely essential to keep the vines in good health.
Local Communities
We support the local charity Wellchild who make home life possible for seriously ill children, rather than hospital.
Packaging & Waste
At shows our tasting cups are always compostable - made from Vegware. Everywhere else we try to use recycled or recyclable materials.
Inspiring & Educating
Although we're not open yet for public tours we always ensure our stockists like Midcounties get to visit the vineyard and winery to gain a greater understanding on the wines that they sell so that they can inform their customers.
Energy Reduction
Having an English winery is the ultimate in low 'food' miles. Most of our customers are within 60 mile radius. Ferments happen at cool temperatures, no additional heat is required. Water is recycled whenever possible.
Nutritional Values
Our Pinot Noir is not as high in beneficial tannins as the Tannat grape but if you drink responsibly you can enjoy a little bit of English countryside.
Animal Welfare
Waste grape skins and stalks make a delicious treat for local pigs and cattle!
