OUR BRAND VALUES*
In the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, Adrian Corke and Sue Carline began brewing hand-crafted beers. First made in 2002 in their garden shed, with 2 fermenters and a 4 barrel plant, they both bottled the ales in the kitchen!
As sales grew, they moved to a 1000 sq ft unit in Cheddleton, enabling a 6 barrel plant to be set up. The beers were sold mostly at local farmers’ markets.
In 2010, Nigel Cope joined the company as a shareholder and director, involving a considerable personal investment. Six new recipes were formulated and, over 12 months, the plant has expanded to 20 barrels. All our bottled beers are triple cold filtered and carbonated giving them the characteristic sparkle and taste in the bottle.
