Launched at the Pig Fair in April 1991, Ladies in Pigs has become formally constituted, has an established Central Office with a working Executive and members throughout the country. Whilst the majority of our members are actively involved in pig farming in some way, our membership is open to anyone with a passion for quality pork and a little spare time to help spread the message!
The National Executive, through the central office supports and organises both branch and national activities. The main thrust of these is to communicate the value of Red Tractor as part of a modern, healthy diet, directly to consumers through food and consumer shows, in-store promotions, schools, colleges, catering establishments and agricultural events.
