SDOP was founded in 1998 by Guy Watson with one of the primary aims of meeting the increasing demand for UK grown produce. South Devon was an obvious choice as the centre for the production and marketing of quality organic produce.
The Co-operative grows over 85 different vegetables throughout the season, from winter essentials to summer specials. SDOP is possibly the largest organic grower and supplier co-operatives in the UK with over 600 acres in vegetable production. We ensure that vegetables are delivered from the growers to the customer as fresh from the field as possible.
