Olives have been cultivated for over four generations at Podere Renuccioli, first by the Mateuzzi family and now by the Blanchard family. After years in business the lure of the Tuscan dream drew us to this stunning valley in the foot hills of the Mugello Mountains and in the shadow of Fiesole. A revitalised love of nature and the land grew into a passion for the land we acquired with our Tuscan home. The magic of the product of that land apparent during our first harvest and the respect and importance people in the community saw in what we as "foreigners" were doing in embracing the local food culture, of which Olive Oil, Extra Virgin in particular sits central to. We work in a environmentally sensitive way, we don't use herbicide or pesticides. We use Organic fertilisers when required. We cut our grass annually but only after wild flowers have flowered and grasses have died back to seed. Biodiversity is encouraged which our post flowering cut and mulch assists with. We harvest by hand or hand held "agitators each Autumn, and press and bottle in one of the two local presses or Frantoio. Olive Oil natures gift or "Medicina", (Medicine) as the Romans termed it. Good food & honest quality ingredients are one of our family passions.

We use minimal chemical inputs in line with Organic principles and employee any organic inputs with consideration.

We use no irrigation in our process, we mulch grass and pruned branches. We ceased all burning of the product of pruning since 2011.
