Sustainability

We are committed to a running a sustainable business and always look for ways to ensure we are using renewable energy sources and reusable or recyclable packaging, whilst minimising the amount of waste we are creating.

Environment

Gloucester Brewery is committed to reducing our impact on the environment wherever possible and seek ways to reduce our energy consumption and use of non-recyclable materials wherever possible. We have pledged to become a carbon neutral company by the end of 2022.

Local Communities

We work closely with our local community, raising significant funding for chosen charities such as Victim Support Gloucestershire, with members of the team taking on fundraising challenges such as the Welsh Three Peaks challenge we completed in 2018 - our fundraising total to date has now broken the £5000 mark.

Packaging & Waste

We try to reduce excess packaging and waste wherever we can and eliminate single use plastics and non recyclables. The 6 pack can holders we use are made from recycled plastic, are reusable and are designed to not create a risk to wildlife, our plastic bags are fully biodegradable and the bottles and cans we use are recyclable.

Inspiring & Educating

We are committed to improving ourselves at every opportunity and provide tailored training opportunities for all our members of staff.

Energy Reduction

We are always looking for ways to help energy reduction in our processes and use clean, renewable energy sources.

Almost all of our beer products are vegan friendly, and registered with the vegan society.
