OUR BRAND VALUES*

Celtic Marches are one of the UK's largest self-sustaining single-estate apple cider producers. All apples used in their Herefordshire ciders are taken from the family’s 200-acre orchards in Bishops Frome. With full control over their cider production from pip to pint. PGI status assures that only Herefordshire apples are used in these gluten free and vegan craft cider. Brother and Sister duo, Robert and Susan, joined forces to create a range of truly delicious Herefordshire Craft Ciders. From the land of the hedgehogs! The family crest of Abrahalls bears three hedgehogs. These are significant to the Welsh Marches where the descendants have farmed for many generations. Abrahalls AD Cider 6% is a skilfully crafted dry cider. It is a well-rounded and easy to drink. Made from 100% cider apples grown on the family’s farm in Bishops Frome. it is a blend of bitter sweet and bitter sharp cider apples; Dabinett, Michelin and a smattering of Kingston Black, the old cidermaker’s favourite.

OUR COMMITMENTS*

Sustainability

All apples used in our ciders are taken from our 200 acre orchards on the family farm in Bishops Frome. We are a self-sustaining cider producer, which is a rare position; a result of over 100 years and numerous generations that have dedicated themselves to the orchards. This allows for full control over our cider production from tree to glass. Awarded PGI status, you can be assured that only Herefordshire apples are used in our delicious craft cider. Pomace, left over from pressing, is processed in anaerobic digesters in Herefordshire; 'clean energy' from this is put back into the Grid.

Environment

Our production miles are low, with both our growth and production based on the family farm. Celtic Marches’ sister company, Marches Bottling and Packaging is less than 5 miles away, maintaining our aim to reduce our production impact on the environment.

Local Communities

We support our local communities through sponsorships, attending local events and charitable donations.

Packaging & Waste

Our bottles and aluminium caps are recyclable. Please check with your local recycling point for more information.

Inspiring & Educating

We offer smaller cider producers and other clients the opportunity to package with us. We work with them to create bespoke blends and help them to grow.
